How it all began
Dalia & Light began in the most unexpected and meaningful way — with becoming a mom.
After having my daughter, I found myself wanting to capture everything. The sleepy snuggles, tiny expressions, big smiles, little milestones, and even the completely ordinary moments in between. I quickly realized how much happiness I found behind the camera, preserving pieces of our everyday life that I knew wouldn’t stay this little forever.
That’s when I realized photography was becoming more than just taking pictures for me. I loved finding the beauty and the light in moments that might otherwise pass by unnoticed.
And I wanted to give that feeling to other people, too.
So Dalia & Light was born — from my love for my daughter, my love for capturing life as it truly happens, and the belief that some of our most beautiful memories are hidden within our most ordinary days.
My hope is that when you look back at your photographs years from now, you don’t just remember what that moment looked like — you remember exactly how it felt. 🤍
My promise to you
When you trust me to capture your memories, I promise to treat them with the same care I would give my own.
I promise to never rush the moments that need a little more time, to have patience with your little ones, and to create a space where you can simply be yourselves. There is no pressure for perfection here — because often, the most beautiful photographs come from the moments we never planned.
I’ll look for the little things: the way your child reaches for your hand, the genuine laugh between poses, the tiny glances, the messy hugs, and all the beautiful in-between moments that make your story yours.
I promise to put my heart into every photograph I capture and every gallery I deliver, because I know these aren’t just pictures. They are pieces of your life that will only become more meaningful with time.

I found Daliaandlightphotography on social media, and when I saw the opportunity to finally be in the photos with my family instead of always being the one behind the camera, I knew I had to go for it—especially four months postpartum. I also invited my in-laws because they had never had professional photos done with us or even together themselves. I knew this would be more than just a family photo session; it would be creating memories that we could all have and treasure. From our very first communication online to meeting in person, she was absolutely wonderful. She is kind, approachable, patient, and genuinely makes you feel comfortable. As a mom herself, she gets it. And that made such a difference. Her work speaks for itself—it is absolutely beautiful. But what stood out to me just as much was the feeling she created behind the camera: peace. We had our session at the beach on a very windy evening, and somehow she was helping me keep my hair out of my face, coordinating who was with whom, switching people in and out, all while making everything feel completely seamless. With three children I expected there to be some chaos, but she was so gentle, playful, patient, and kind with them. She never made us feel rushed or like we were difficult to photograph. She just went with the flow and made the entire experience easy. At one point, it honestly felt less like we were with a photographer and more like we were spending time with an old friend who just happened to be capturing our family exactly as we are. I cannot rave enough about her approach. The photos are beautiful, but the experience of having them taken is something I will remember too. I truly feel like your family is in the best hands with her. I now have photographs that I will treasure for a lifetime—and, more importantly, photographs my children will one day be able to look back on and enjoy. I've already signed up for two more sessions and look forward to it! If you’re considering booking her, do it. Your future self will be so grateful you did.
